Cricket Australia has confirmed that Perth Stadium will host its first-ever Ashes Test during the 2025-26 Australian summer. This historic match will mark a significant shift as the Ashes series opener moves away from Brisbane’s iconic Gabba, where it traditionally kicks off. Starting on November 21, 2025, this match will set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling series between Australia and England. England will be looking to break their poor Ashes record in Perth, having won only one Test in the city.

Following the opening game, the second Test will take place under lights at The Gabba in Brisbane from December 4, followed by a day-night Test at the Adelaide Oval, the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the final Test at Sydney Cricket Ground.
